Questions dog owners ask us

Both include a bath and blow-dry, nail trim, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, deshedding, a face, paw and sanitary trim, a coconut oil finishing touch and cologne, with anal gland expression if needed. The full groom (J$7,000) adds a full haircut and styling. The partial groom (J$5,000) has no full body haircut.

Yes. A matting fee of J$1,000–J$5,000 applies if excessive matting is present.

Yes. We don’t rush to restraint. Every dog is different, and we move at their pace to keep the groom as calm and comfortable as possible. We welcome dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and we’ve groomed dogs who can’t see. Tell us about your dog when you book.

Yes. Mobile grooming is available islandwide: we come to you with everything needed. Outside our regular area we come on country grooming trips, with a J$3,000 flat transportation fee within the parish.

Our services are for dogs aged 3 months and up.

We reply on WhatsApp to confirm the date, time and price. Once your booking is confirmed we send consent forms, which must be signed and returned before any service starts.

You can. Boarding is charged by the day, and the rate depends on your dog’s size and whether you send their own food. Ask us for the current rate.

Yes. Our dog taxi does vet runs and pick-ups. The price depends on where you are and where your dog is going, so message us with both.

No. Canine Clips & Coaching is a grooming, training and care business. We offer add-on care like deworming, Heartgard heartworm prevention, NexGard flea and tick prevention and wound cleaning, but for illness or injury see your vet. Our dog taxi can take your dog there.

Yes. We help with the export requirements: vaccinations and health certificates, travel documents, parasite treatments and airline coordination. It starts with a consultation; message us your dog’s details and destination.

Yes. All prices on this site are in Jamaican dollars (J$). We confirm your price on WhatsApp before your booking is confirmed.
